Ito ay itinatag noong Hulyo 1, 1912 nila Srs. Ferdinanda, Edilburgis, at Alexia na misyonerong Benedictine Sisters ng Tutzing, Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noon ay pinangalanan itong Academia de Santa Ines pagkatapos ng napili nitong patron na si St. Agnes ng Roma, ang paaralan ay nagbukas bilang isang all-girl primary school na may 47 enrollees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At ang unang gusali nito ay ang lumang kumbento ng parokya ng St. Gregory the Great Church of Albay.
