Opisyal nang binuksan sa publiko ang kauna-unahang Sculpture Garden sa Pilipinas na matatagpuan sa Animal Husbandry Arc, Animal Science sa University of the Philippines Los Ba\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dinaluhan ang mahalagang aktibidad ng iba pang mga artist na naging katuwang ni Father of Installation Art in the Philippines, Luis \u201cJunyee\u201d Yee, Jr. sa pagbuo ng kanyang mga naging obra maestra sa nakalipas na anim na dekada.<\/p>\n\n\n

Nakiisa rin sa makasining na pagbubukas ng proyekto sina Los Ba\u00f1os Mayor Anthony Genuino, Former UP President at Chancellor National Scientist Emil Q. Javier, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs Roberto P. Cereno, at Office for Initiatives in Culture at Arts Assoc. Prof. Laurence Marvin S. Castillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tampok sa garden ang 20 na obra tulad ng Bantayog ng Wika, Balanghay, Balag at Angud, Bagong Binhi, Makiling, at Ugnayan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Makikita rin sa lugar ang Pavillion na dinisenyo naman ni Architect Bimbo Balte na siya naman magsisilbi bilang events place na mapagkukunan ng pondo upang matiyak ang pagpapanatili at kaayusan ng lugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ang Sculpture Garden ay nagsisilbing permanenteng eksibit ng mga pinarangalang mga eskultura ni Luis E. Yee Jr., o kilala bilang “Junyee” ang “Father of Installation Arts in the Philippines.”<\/p>\n\n\n

Ayon kay Vice Chancellor Cereno, nilikha ang Sculpture Garden upang isulong ang \u201cculture in the arts, inclusion, diversity\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nais naman ni Hon. Legarda na maisulong ang kamalayan at pagpapahalaga sa “cultural heritage, environmental conservation, and the beauty of Filipino artistry” sa pamamagitan ng Sculpture Garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
